Malta, October 10, 2018 — The chiliZ team is delighted to welcome Beatrice Collet as the Managing Director of the chiliZ Blockchain Campus. Beatrice will be responsible for on-boarding leading players in the blockchain space to the Campus, and will be charged with developing an innovative hub where blockchain entrepreneurs will collaboratively grow and develop on a global scale.
The chiliZ Blockchain Campus offers a turnkey solution to blockchain companies, offering access to local service providers and European banking services, with an aim to become a European gateway for Asian organisations in particular, bringing the biggest blockchain protocols and technologies to Malta. Through a series of weekly events — ICO pitches, crypto meet-ups, social gatherings — the Campus will also build a collaborative network with blockchain incubators all over the world. The Campus will host more than 200 new employees in 2019, a direct result of companies setting up in Malta.
Beatrice joins chiliZ from Truevo Payments where she was the Head of Sales & Marketing and part of a team responsible for transforming the business from a small start-up into a leading fintech firm. Beatrice brings extensive experience from the world of strategic business development, international business journalism as well as card payments, providing business intelligence facilitating cross border operations. Beatrice is also very much a blockchain technology and crypto enthusiast.
“Beatrice is joining at an exciting time for the chiliZ Blockchain Campus, just as we begin to welcome some of the world’s largest Cryptocurrency and Blockchain companies to Malta. I’m looking forwarding to welcoming many new entrepreneurs into our space,” said Alexandre Dreyfus, CEO of chiliZ.
“I’m incredibly proud to be joining the chiliZ team, at an exciting junction in their development on the blockchain island of Malta. Thanks to a reputable and supportive jurisdiction, fostering a stable environment, the chiliZ Blockchain Campus could not have found a better innovative and business-centric environment than Malta. I’m looking forward to building the chiliZ Blockchain Campus into the most successful and exclusive blockchain ecosystem in Europe and the world,” said Beatrice.
