Another month, another milestone. We’re delighted to welcome three new team members to the Chiliz family, taking us up to a total of 52 colleagues spread across four locations. Our new recruits will be joining the Tech and Marketing teams in Malta as we gear-up to the launch of

Joining the Tech team, as a Front-End Developer, Silvester was previously from a small start-up where he was a Full-stack Web Developer. Aiming high Silvester felt he needed a challenge and wanted to spice things up: “Chiliz is a big step forward for me, not only a game changer in sports and esports, but also for people like me.”

So what inspires Silvester about Chiliz? He loves that Chiliz is driven by people “who are truly interested and passionate about the product and the success of it; people who work at Chiliz are either into sports or esports and that is what I love the most about it. If you want to deliver a truly likeable product, deliver it with love and good intentions, not greed.”

In his spare time, Silvester has recently taken up photography and videography to get more creative but also to find a balance with his love of everything technical and analytical.

Also joining the Tech Team, Matthew joins as a Front Developer. He previously worked at  Accreda, a local software company based in Valletta. Matthew says “I instantly fell in love with and being a football fan only pushed me further to want to be a part of the Chiliz team.”

Matthew loves sports, is an avid AC Milan fan although he admits they’re not going through the best time at the moment. He’s also a fan of Final Fantasy and the technology company Xiaomi.

Joining the Marketing & Communications department, Nicky joins as Digital Marketing Specialist. He was previously at Catena Media, where he specialised in Programmatic Marketing. Nicky has been following “ since day one.” He added: “I had made my decision to become a Fan Token owner as soon as I heard about the concept, not even knowing when the app was going to be launched. Working here is a dream job :).”

In his spare time, Nicky like to do charity work and volunteer abroad. He graduated in Criminology and is proudly the first (and only) Inter Milan fan at Chiliz…for now.
