chiliZ welcomes three new team members

We’re happy to announce that three new colleagues have joined the chiliZ team within the Design and MarComms departments.

Sarah, our new Senior Graphic Designer has joined us from global advertising agency, TBWA\ANG, where she was the lead on branding and editorial projects. Sarah will be joining our creative studio and will help take Socios.com and chiliZ campaigns to the next level. Sarah is a passionate photographer, loves to cook and is a self-confessed disco lover. She’s also launched her own online t-shirt line. Sarah says she’s happy to be a part of chiliZ: “Being able to work on this project is super exciting — especially given the use of blockchain technology. It’s great to be part of an ambitious young team whereby we can all learn together and push this project to new heights,” said Sarah.

Saelomi is our new Korean Communications and Content Executive who joined us from an online media company. Here she was a podcast producer tasked with spicing up the subject of economics to make it more engaging. Lomi, as she’s known at chiliZ, is also a yoga instructor, and will be responsible for communications and content for the Korean market, where chiliZ has a large following. Lomi says she’s excited to have joined the team not least because we have such a cool name: “Back home we have a proverb that states ‘a small chilli is much spicier than a bigger one’ which basically means don’t underestimate the potential for greatness from small things. Korea is a small country but is doing very well in industries such as esports and Blockchain. chiliZ, I’m sure, is destined for great things.”

Also joining the MarComms team is Calvin, who joins us as Digital Communications Manager for Socios.com. Calvin joined us from i-gaming company Yobetit, where he was a Social Media Manager. Calvin says that he finds everything about working for chiliZ inspiring: “Coming to work is an everyday experience. From the building itself to the incredibly smart people that work here, and of course the product itself. I firmly believe that Socios.com will become the go-to platform for every passionate sports fan in the world. I feel incredibly proud to be part of this team and there is no other place I’d rather be.” A fun fact about Calvin — he spent a year sharing a room with a then semi-professional footballer who is now a Premier League star. Calvin would like to point out that he still outclasses him on FIFA!
