Chiliz brings blockchain sports innovation to Warsaw with 48-hour “Hacking Poland” event, with a $10,000 prize pool and the chance of an all-expenses paid trips to Hacking Paris 2025
Warsaw, 29 April, 2025 — Chiliz, the leading blockchain provider for the sports and entertainment industry, is thrilled to announce “Hacking Poland,” a 48-hour in-person hackathon taking place May 23-25, 2025, at Kwadrat Praski in Warsaw. This event forms part of the global expansion of Chiliz’s developer ecosystem ahead of the flagship Hacking Paris event hosted at Parc des Princes stadium.
Under the theme “From Warsaw to Paris,” the hackathon invites developers, blockchain enthusiasts, and sports technology innovators to build decentralized applications (dapps) focused on sports and fan engagement on the Chiliz Chain. The event positions Warsaw as a key European tech hub within the growing Chiliz developer community.
“Poland has an incredible talent pool of developers and a thriving tech ecosystem which we are already deeply embedded in,” said Darren Seah, Head of Events at Chiliz. “Hacking Poland represents our commitment to further nurture regional developer communities and creating a pathway for local builders to showcase their innovations on a global stage in Paris.”
The hackathon offers participants a prize pool exceeding $10,000. The top two grand prize winners will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to compete at Hacking Paris 2025 held in July, the pinnacle event in Chiliz’s global developer initiative. It will bring together the brightest minds in blockchain and sports technology at the iconic Parc des Princes stadium in Paris for a $150,000 prize pool.
Hacking Poland comes just after the conclusion of Hacking Brazil, an online Portuguese-language hackathon that offered over R$20,000 in rewards, with winning projects similarly advancing to Hacking Paris.
Developers interested in participating can register here. Throughout Hacking Poland, participants will have access to technical workshops, mentorship from Chiliz engineers, and networking opportunities. The event is open to developers of all experience levels with blockchain tech.
