How Does Kayen’s “Stake to Score” Campaign Work?

Kayen liquid staking for Chiliz (CHZ) is now live, and with it the “Stake to Score” campaign. It’s time to stake CHZ, score stCHZ, earn points, and compete for a 350,000 CHZ prize pool.

So what exactly does the campaign involve, what must you do to earn points from staking Chiliz tokens, and how does the loyalty bonus and five scoring paths work?

We’ve got you covered.

What is “Stake to Score”?

The “Stake to Score” campaign is Kayen’s liquid staking launch campaign, a 4-week leaderboard where stakers earn points across five actions to share 350,000 CHZ.

Kayen liquid staking empowers CHZ holders to stake their tokens to earn stCHZ, , a liquid-staked derivative that enables them to stay liquid while simultaneously accruing rewards that compound automatically – no action needed.

Season 01 of the “Stake to Score” campaign is about inaugurating the arrival of CHZ liquid staking and incentivizing holders to get involved.

What is stCHZ?

stCHZ is a token that represents your share of the underlying staked CHZ position. With Kayen liquid staking, users can stake CHZ to receive stCHZ, which allows them to maintain active market exposure and trading flexibility while concurrently earning protocol staking yields.

It is important to note that while staking and earning rewards, your stCHZ balance will stay the same. This is because it is not the stCHZ balance that is increasing but the value.

Depositing 100 CHZ will cause the user to receive the corresponding value of stCHZ, which near the start of the liquid staking launch will likely be close to 100 stCHZ.

Weeks down the line, you may still have the original stCHZ balance in your wallet (assuming you haven’t traded it or used it to provide liquidity). However, each stCHZ will now be worth slightly more CHZ, since staking rewards have accumulated and compounded automatically.

This is known as the exchange rate, and it is computed from on-chain balances: no oracle, no off-chain feed. The exchange rate gradually increases as rewards are earned.

When does Season 01 run?

Season 01 of “Stake to Score” runs from 3 August 2026, 11:00 CEST until 31 August 2026, 11:00 CEST. The claim window is 31 August 2026 until 30 September 2026.

How do I earn points by staking CHZ on Kayen?

There are five ways to earn points staking CHZ on Kayen:

Hold: Based on users’ average stCHZ balance held over the week, boosted by loyalty (Loyalty resets on >50% withdrawal or wallet splitting)

Pool: Provide liquidity to the $stCHZ/$CHZ pool and earn a 1.5x boost on the LP-provided share of exposure (Out-of-range liquidity earns nothing)

Buy: One-time award on stCHZ purchased directly from the stCHZ/CHZ pool (Selling earns no points)

Migrate: One-time boost on CHZ moved from native staking to Kayen LST (Unstake from native staking, wait the ~2 day undelegate  period, then deposit to Kayen: the boost is applied when the deposit is verified)

Refer: 10% of the referee’s points, ongoing; referee gets +10% on their own (Both parties must stake ≥2,000 CHZ; capped at 25% of the referrer’s own points; single level only)

How is the 350,000 CHZ prize pool distributed?

The 350,000 CHZ prize pool will be distributed proportionally based on the leaderboard standing among qualifying stakers, with the exact per-rank breakdown pending confirmation.

In short, your goal is to climb as high as you can on the leaderboard to be eligible for a larger share of the prize pool.

How does the loyalty mechanic work?

The “Stake to Score” campaign is designed to incentivize continuous staking over a longer time horizon. The longer you stake, the larger your loyalty multiplier becomes, rewarding long-term participation over short-term activity.

The loyalty multiplier is as follows:

Weeks 0-1: 1.0x

Weeks 1-2: 1.2x

Weeks 2-3: 1.5x

Weeks 3-4: 1.8x

Note: Withdrawing more than 50% of a position, or splitting a stake across new wallets, resets the multiplier to 1.0x.

How can I participate in the campaign?

Connect a compatible wallet to Kayen, stake CHZ to receive stCHZ and begin earning leaderboard points. You can then increase your score by holding stCHZ, providing liquidity, buying stCHZ, migrating an existing native stake or referring another eligible participant.

To get started, visit the official Kayen liquid staking page and connect a wallet containing CHZ on Chiliz Chain. Choose how much CHZ you want to stake and confirm the transaction.

Simply holding stCHZ allows you to accumulate points based on your average weekly balance.

The other scoring routes are optional. You can provide in-range liquidity to the stCHZ/CHZ pool, buy stCHZ directly from the pool, migrate CHZ from native staking to Kayen or refer another user. Referral bonuses require both participants to stake at least 2,000 CHZ.

Participating in Season 01 of “Stake to Score” is easy. All you have to do is connect your wallet, stake CHZ to receive stCHZ, provide liquidity or migrate (optional), and track your score.
