James Murphy, a seasoned professional in the realm of web3 commercial, partnerships, and innovation, brings to the table an extensive background in direct-to-consumer (D2C) and direct-to-business (D2B) strategies, particularly within the sports and entertainment sectors. His expertise in working with Rights and IP owners is set to redefine our approach to Fan Tokens.
James’s role will focus on enhancing commercial value and growth through comprehensive stakeholder management, fan engagement, and the development of innovative value exchange, reward, and recognition frameworks.
Beyond his professional life, James is a family man, balancing his time between work, family, and adventures with his three kids and three rescue dogs. An enthusiast of the great outdoors, he enjoys trekking, watching rugby and football, and embraces seasonal sports such as golf in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. Though he splits his time between Romania and London, James will be primarily based in our Madrid and London offices.
This strategic appointment coincides with our expansion plans, under which Daniel Maglietta will take the helm of a new independent commercial unit.
